At Second Pres we want worship to be the best hour of your week. That's why every service is carefully planned to help worshippers to come into God's presence in ways that inspire, inform, challenge, and heal. Most weeks we follow a traditional Presbyterian order of worship, but no one would accuse us of being stuck in the past.We celebrate The Lord's Supper (communion) on the first Sunday of every month. All baptized people are welcome, regardless of your denominational background. Instruction for children is offered each year.

Our Sanctuary and all meeting areas are fully accessible. Large print buletins, hymnals and Bibles are available. service dogs are welcome.

Children at Church - God loves kids and so do we! Children of all ages are welcome to worship with their parent(s) in the Sanctuary. The ushers will be glad to provide you with activity bags that include crayons and coloring pages; just ask. The church narthex (lobby) serves as a “crying room” for fussy babies or nursing moms; there you can listen to the worship service and have easy access to the changing table in either of the rest rooms. Children through 4 years old are also welcome in our professionally staffed nursery. Beepers are provided to parents to notify them in the event of an emergency. Children’s Church: meets every Sunday. This brief child-friendly worship service provides Kindergartners through 3rd graders the opportunity to worship God at their level. Kids sing, pray, make a project, and hear a Bible Story that they can relate to. On Communion Sundays, Children’s Worship begins at 10:30am; on other Sundays it begins immediately following the Children’s Message. We want your first worship experience to be a great one for both you and your child. Feel free to call ahead to tell us that you’re coming, and we’ll have someone ready to welcome you and show you and your child around.
