Music to Glorify God
Second Presbyterian Church is pleased to present our seventh season of Celebrate the Arts. The series has brought a rich variety of music to the community. This season continues the tradition with several very different performances. We opened by presenting Presbybop, a unique blend of music and faith. Silver, Wood and Ivory were our second artists. Violist Julius Wirth and The Florestan Recital Project complete our 2009-2010 program in the spring.
The mission of Celebrate the Arts is to build the body of Christ and promote the arts in the community by providing quality programming. Recent programs in the series have included Andrew Henderson, organist from New York City's Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church, and Barry Hannigan, concert pianist from the faculty of Bucknell University.
