Sunday School for all ages meets

September through May
Children and Youth Sunday School
Sunday School classes at Second Presbyterian Church seek to teach children and youth about God’s love through the Bible, as well as through an atmosphere of caring and acceptance in the classroom. Nursery care is provided during the Sunday School hour for children under the age of three.
Pre-K through Fifth Grade Classes
All children in this age group meet together for the first 15 minutes of the classroom time for a brief period of worship, singing, and offering in the common quad area in the lower level of the church. Children are dismissed with their teachers at 9:15 a.m. to individual classrooms according to their grade level. An elevator is available for anyone who needs handicap accessibility to this area.
Middle School Class
This class for 6th - 8th graders allows middle school youth to continue exploring Biblical truths in relationship to the events that affect their own world, such as peer pressure and current events. Singing, discussions and sharing help to bring a perspective to living as a teenage Christian in today's world. Middle School students will be encouraged to become active participants in the life of the church. The format is focused discussion and meets in The Green Room off of the lower rotunda.
Senior High Class
Senior Highs meet together in the Couch Room off of the lower rotunda. Class format is interactive and participatory.
Adult Sunday School Electives
Christian growth continues well beyond high school here at Second Presbyterian. All adults are encouraged to join in a Sunday School elective. New topical electives begin approximately every six weeks. Contact the church office for specifics on fall classes and topics.
