became the Coordinator of Youth Ministries at Second Presbyterian Church in June 2007. She earned a B.S. in Ed. in Elementary Education with a minor in reading from Shippensburg University and has devoted her adult life to working with youth in both professional and volunteer positions.
At Second Pres she has served as leader of the middle school youth for more than a year, taught Sunday school in first through fifth grades, and co-directed the Christmas pageant for four years. Professionally, she served as a substitute teacher in local public
schools and supervised individuals aged 14 through adult as manager of several Hardees Restaurants for eleven years.
As Coordinator of Youth Ministries, Micki hopes to encourage young people to become involved in all aspects of the church, including serving on boards and committees, taking part in worship services, and serving in the community. She is committed to knowing and
serving youth who need help in any grade. “I want kids to be all they can be,” she says.
